Gail Brodholt has a degree in Fine Art and now works full time as a painter and printmaker from her studio in South London.
Recent work has explored the urban landscape - the unconsidered backdrop to our daily lives. She simplifies and formalises the confusion of the fully urbanised scene by extracting the crucial elements from the landscape and uses colour to suggest the mood of the city.
