Lucie's work is characterised by a bold presentation of line and colour.

Interest in printmaking started with lithography, and her work now uses both intaglio and relief printmaking. Her most recent work uses wood and linocut methods.

Subject matter includes imagery from her time spent in Asia and simple organic subjects from her garden and allotment.

Work is carried out in her own studio as well as at the University of Hertfordshire and the Dekkle Print Studios Baldock.

Recent exhibitions have included work with the Society of Wood Engravers (SWE), Pushing Print (Margate) and Printmakers' Council.
