In 1991, Minako arrived in the UK where she took a series of courses at several different colleges. She chose printmaking as her main subject, but she eagerly studied other methods such as ceramic, jewellery, papermaking, papier-mache, photography, etc. Minako strongly believes in the healing effect of creative energy she experiences while she works on her own pieces and is hoping to pass it on to others, to the Earth, and to the whole universe through her work.
