Nick was born in Cambridge and studied Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic and Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. He has lived and worked in Lewisham ever since. He has always been attracted to the rivers and the buildings of London, in particular the dramatic tidal level of the Thames and how the landscape changes around it every day. He combines this with memories and imagined views to create his etchings.
