Monoprinting is my preferred technique to explore landscape and urban images. Each monoprint is part of a series and each print is unique in its own right. The monoprints are painted directly onto a silkscreen and pulled through onto paper. Then, through reprinting, collage, scratching and drawing with pencil and charcoal the image begins to relate to the energy of the original scene.
